勝果

(勝果, 胜果)

The surpassing fruit, i.e. that of the attainment of Buddhahood, in contrast with Hīnayāna lower aims; two of these fruits are transcendent (sa) nirvāṇa and complete bodhi.

殊勝之果， 即佛果。 聲聞緣覺之果不圓滿， 雖然是果但非勝， 菩薩十地之法尚未圓滿， 故雖勝而非果， 只有佛果才是最究竟圓滿之果， 所以稱為勝果。
